Scott Hadden, writer/producer/director, is the owner of Film & Video Direction, a production company specializing in TV commercials and corporate communications. After graduating from UT Austin in 1975, Mr. Hadden worked at KERA-TV on Austin City Limits, then at 36 NBC-TV, before helping to build Third Coast Video in Austin. Moving to Dallas in 1981, he directed the Roger Staubach Show for Channel 21 Productions. In 1983, along with partner Joe Manganello, he formed Hadden Manganello & Associates and brought “Entertrainment” to corporate communications for Club Corp., Mary Kay, and the Associates. In 1990 as VP of Development & Production for Lessonware, Mr. Hadden led the team producing the Study Game, a series of educational programs blending the motivation of big name athletes (Magic Johnson, Joe Montana, Wayne Gretzky, Chris Evert), the experience of celebrity academics (Dr. Bob Ballard, Dr. Sally Ride, George Plimpton, Marva Collins) and common-sense study skills. His current company Film & Video Direction was formed in 1993. FVD has produced training videos for El Chico Restaurants, Mary Kay, Half Price Books, Texas Instruments, Alcohol through BusinessWorks, and Sally Beauty, marketing videos for Sally Beauty, Insight Capital through ESPI, NEST Entertainment, Mary Kay, Nortel through Corporate Magic, and Navini, meeting support for Nortel, IBM, Blockbuster, and Daisytek through CorporateMagic, and Mary Kay, and TV commercials for Half Price Books. Mr. Hadden is the past-President of the Dallas Producers Association and has been on the Board of Directors since 1987. He was on the Board of the DFW Regional Film Commission and the Dallas Communication Council. He is currently on the Board of Operators for the Lake Highlands YMCA. Scott Hadden has been married to Allyson Bradley, Creative Director for Half Price Books, since 1979. They have 3 sons. |
